Winter Stripes

Hello beautiful people! I am soooooo cold right now.  We went to view a house today and where a little early so stopped off at one of Belfast's popular points Belfast Castle and i just can not get heat back into my body.  Its stunning, the view the grounds the castle itself but my dear frozen bum cheeks it was cold.

Well this weekend was a crazy one, i had my Christmas do with work on Friday night then a mini one with friends on Saturday night...phew..im wrecked........

So... i knew this weekend could have gone two ways...hauled up in the house with no money (or even petrol for that matter) to go anywhere or a trip to pizza express for a yummy dinner date.

Hi lovelies! I had a day off today..well just because, so i slept in late, got up had bagels and coffee watched some day time TV and then took my time getting dressed to take some outfit photos and stop off at the shop for dinner.   Is it just me or does time seem to go 10 times faster these days? I feel so rushed this last while like i have an army general shouting in my ear GO GO GO MOVE IT MOVE IT.

Embellished Sunday

Hey! Hope you are well! Yesterday was quite a gorgeous day in Belfast, my fiancé and I decided to take a drive up the mountain on our way to my dad's to get a view shots.  I adore these Topshop high waisted  Jamie skinny jeans, they are super comfy and the perfect fit and colour!



I just bought these jeans the other day, they caught my eye across the shop, i absolutely love the colour of them..are you like me and always trying to find the perfect this the perfect that, these for me are the perfect blue jeans, i have to have high waisted because of my big bum (HA) so they are a lovely fit and ankle grazers so sit really well with heels or boots!

I just got these boots a few weeks ago...they are my new friends...super comfy! and are still 25% off!! i love the colour!

Shopping, Baby's and wine oh my

Hey beautiful people! Today i met an old friend from school who had a little baby just 4 months ago, he is so cute a squishy! I just wanted to eat his cheeks!!!  I love baby's, and seeing baby John made me a little more broody than usual!

After i left my friend i went into Belfast city centre for a little (window) retail therapy...well saying that i bought a few things! check back tomorrow for my review on some of the products i bought!

I then my my handsome fiancé for dinner (and a sneaky glass of wine) in Muriel's bar/restaurant.  Its a quirky little bar, with underwear hanging from the ceiling, vintage pin up photos in the lady's bathroom and the best chicken pie in all of Belfast!

Wardrobe essential, Leather Skirt!

I love this look! This skirt is one of those buys that i just grabbed because i thought "well, i don't have a leather skirt"!....So that's how that was bought, it ended up being a staple in my wardrobe and especially one of those items that when i don't know what to wear (and it looks like a monkey got into my wardrobe and decided to throw my clothes everywhere).  The shoes are super comfy and a lovely primark price for only £10! A little tip for buying heels, always try to bring them to your local shoe menders and get them to re-heel and sole them, in the case of primark shoes yes i basically paid the same amount as the shoes cost, but the upside is they will last you a lot longer!  Trust me! 

Do you never notice how heels and soles on new shoes sometimes just wear away too quick and the next thing you know they are scuffed with holes and it rains and you have a puddle in your shoe? ...not a good look, so this is a great way to keep those favorite new shoes a little newer longer...plus the sole is thicker and you cant feel every bump in the ground..(ouch) we women don't get is easy i'm telling you!

Christmas Market

So today was the day the Christmas market opened in Belfast city centre! and as usual it was bloody packed..we literally waked through just to have a nosy..and got a hot dog on the way.. ;)

The market is always so pretty and full of culture you just have to go in at least once just so you can say you saw it!! One of my favorite stalls is the leather one..unfortunately i couldn't get to today but i'l hopefully pop in again sometime next week.  The purses and wallets are just so quirky, most man made and i love the smell of leather!!

yummy in my tummy caramel cappuccino!! I just sat by myself watching everyone go about their lives! I do this sometimes just take it all in.. I'l see an old couple holding hands it just makes me smile, i think people are so much more warm and lifted near Christmas time, its definitely my favorite time of year what about you??

Everyone is so lovely and pleasant at this time of year and nearly ever stall i walked past the owners where wishing customers a very merry christmas!! ahhh i love this time of year :D

 Loads of naughtly little treat stalls!! its like candy land and Santas workshop all at the same time... I resisted the urge for a huge chocolate bun.... *moving on*....

I met my friend for some bubbles in Café Vaudville.  This bar is so cute and quirky and when you walk in would remind you of a top class bar/café you would find in the buzzing streets of New York, there is a great buzz about the place.
